Our Project Management Office (PMO) is well known at TELUS to be the “one-stop shop” for all things cybersecurity.  Our mandate includes the management of all customer facing & internal security projects, and we are continuously broadening our scope to support TELUS as we grow across Canada and beyond. Our geographically spread, bilingual and diverse team members focus on delivering outstanding experiences and desired project outcomes for both our internal and external clients.  Joining our team means you become front and centre to some of the industry’s most cutting edge cybersecurity projects working with experts at TELUS, our partners and our customers.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a desire to support, develop and drive new processes, tools and methodologies focused to operationalize our three-year plan. In this role you’ll partner with leaders and stakeholders to drive strategic and transformational initiatives.  
 
Here's how
  • Implement cross-functional process improvements that help support our PMO mandate and deliver exemplary customer experience
  • Champion customer experience and process development/re-engineering initiatives
  • Support and drive the Project Management teams with effective relationship building and leadership
  • Develop strong relationships with management stakeholders with internal TELUS teams (Sales, Pre-sales, Delivery and Day 2 teams)
  • Lead analysis of project performance metrics to drive product and service improvements
  • Facilitate and enable a continuous improvement culture (programs / projects / tools / processes)
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
  • You hold a university degree
  • You hold a Project Management Designation such as a PMP or equivalent
  • Experience using various process improvement methods
  • Experience driving and elevating team engagement through relationship building
  • You are comfortable creating presentations and presenting them to senior leaders
  • You have excellent negotiation, organizational and communication skills
  • You are able to identify conflicts and risks and are capable of making recommendations for their resolution
  • You understand the concepts of team building and can apply them to complex or large teams and can coach junior team members
Great-to-haves
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
